Initially sold in Europe, they later expanded into the USA and Asia. Creative product development is a hallmark of this small, innovative company. Even large cosmetic companies have copied some concepts, like: NO-animal testing. This policy started in Holland in 1976. The name Paul Penders has stood for no-animal tests for over 25 years.

His philosophy of “no chemicals” and “no animal testing” started with shampoos and later evolved into a bounty of new skincare products for people of all ages.


As a young man with a successful salon in The Netherlands in the 1960's, Paul's creativity was challenged to go beyond chemically based beauty cosmetic products, which were used almost exclusively at that time.
